We welcome referrals from British Columbia lawyers. For more than two decades, we have worked with referring counsel on wrongful-death and serious personal-injury cases arising in the United States, and we have paid substantial referral fees on many successful matters. Some of our most significant results have come from cases referred to us by other lawyers.
If you are a BC lawyer with a client who has been injured or killed in the United States, Greg Lauer is available to consult with you. Regardless of which U.S. state the incident occurred in, Greg can explain how U.S. insurance carriers evaluate claims, how the applicable state’s negligence or wrongful-death law applies in U.S. federal court, and whether the case is viable.
After your consultation, if you decide that your client would benefit from our involvement, Greg can accept the case on a referral basis or enter into a co-counsel arrangement so you can continue to work with and advise your client.
All referral and co-counsel arrangements are structured in compliance with the rules and professional-conduct requirements of the Law Society of British Columbia.
